The jackpot for the Lottery’s Powerball drawing on Wednesday has risen to $448 million.
According to Lottery Spokesperson Christian Teja, the drawing will be the 22nd since the jackpot was last hit on December 26 when a $298.3 million jackpot was won on a ticket sold in New York.
Teja said the cash option for the prize is estimated to be $271.7 million.
The jackpot is the game’s largest since it was last hit in October 2018 when winning tickets sold in Iowa and New York shared the $687.8 million jackpot.
Powerball tickets are $2 each and can be bought until 9:50 p.m. Wednesday.
