The West Springfield Council on Aging is scheduled to host an informational session on REAL IDs Monday at the West Springfield Senior Center. The session will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be run by Massachusetts RMV representatives.
A REAL ID can be used for multiple purposes. You can use it as a driver’s license, an identification card, and a form of federal ID. Current licenses are not a valid form of federal ID.
REAL IDs cannot be processed online. Monday’s informational session is designed to clarify what a REAL ID is, and what documentation is required to get one.
If you plan on going to the free informational session, the West Springfield Senior Center is asking you to RSVP by calling them at 413-263-3264.
