State Police troopers were called to assist with traffic and security at Cranland Airport after a reported plane crash in the Monponsett St. area Friday.
One person was taken by medical helicopter to Tufts Hospital. A second person was also taken by helicopter to Mass General Hospital. They both suffered serious injuries, according to State Police.
State Police tweeted information about the reported plane crash in the area of 775 Monponsett St. a little after 4:30 p.m.

Hanson Fire Department officials requested assistance from the State Fire Incident Command Post.
The plane is described as a 1946 Aeronca 7CA.
The cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.
