Seekonk police cancel Silver Alert, man found safe

SEEKONK, Mass. (WPRI) — Seekonk police have canceled a Silver Alert after a man reported missing was found safe. 

John Wiesbauer was located safely after last seen leaving his home Friday morning.

Wiesbauer, 65, was driving a 2013 gray Kia 4 door sedan with registration 934FX7. He was last wearing sweat pants, a sweat shirt with a gray vest and black sneakers.

Police say he has ties to the Westboro area and works in Chestnut Hill.

Seekonk police thanked those for their assistance.
