(WWLP) – Massachusetts business owners will be saving about $130 million on workers’ compensation Starting July 1st.

Attorney General Andrea Campbell’s Office reached a settlement with the WCRIB and the State Rating Bureau on Wednesday.

Massachusetts businesses are required to purchase workers’ compensation insurance.
lowering those rates aims to help small businesses save money, so that they can offer higher wages, better benefits, and lower prices.
