BOSTON (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will be meeting Thursday on the agenda is sports betting.

The Commission set a potential timeline at a meeting last Friday, aiming to start in-person sports betting in late January at casinos, then start mobile sports betting in March. The Commissioners did say that these target dates may be too aggressive and could still be pushed back.

According to the agenda, the Commission will review public comments regarding the sports wagering application, an update on contractual services for sports wagering implementation, daily fantasy sports registration and tax filing forms, and divisional updates.

A preliminary discussion will also be held on the licensing evaluation process. The live stream will be held at 10 a.m. on MassGaming.com.
