BOSTON (AP) — Boston police have released the names of two men killed in the city’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood earlier this week.

The victims of Monday night’s shooting were identified as 32-year-old Christian Green, of New Bedford, and 34-year-old Jose Martinez, of Boston.

Officers responding to reports of gunfire just before 10 p.m. located one victim down in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim was found on a nearby street and taken to the hospital, where he died.

There have been no arrests and police are asking anyone with information about the killings to contact them.

The deaths bring the number of homicides in the city this year to 20.
