DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP)– There was no winner’s for the Mega Millions Jackpot Tuesday night.

According to a news release from Mass Lottery, Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing was the 19th since the jackpot was last won on October 14, when the tickets sold in California and Florida each won a share of a $502 million jackpot. The new prize is estimated up to $510 million. The cash option on the prize is an estimated $266.8 million. The next drawing will be on Friday Night.

22News spoke to the owner of Buckeye Bros Smokeshop in Springfield about recent business ahead of Tuesday’s drawing.

“People are excited, they’re breaking down the door to come in,” said David Glantz. “… $465 million, be a nice Christmas present for somebody when they wake up Christmas morning.”

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each and can be played in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and can be purchased until 10:45 p.m. before the 11:00 p.m. drawing. Drawings are held on every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m. ET in Atlanta, GA.
