(NBC News) – A Los Angeles area candy shop claims it broke a Guinness World Record.
The candy factory in North Hollywood poured melted chocolate and spread peanut butter into a kiddie pool to make the world’s largest peanut butter cup.
The shop owners say they used more than four hundred forty four pounds of ingredients, which beat the old world record by one hundred and ninety pounds.
Once verified, the peanut butter cup will be sold in one pound pieces and the proceeds will go to charity.
