Western Massachusetts native Miranda Roldan will be featured in Thursday’s episode of Law and Order: SVU.
Roldan is originally from the Florence section of Northampton, but now lives in New York City.
Roldan told 22News her role in Thursday’s episode is as a character named “Sgt. Hernandez.” She couldn’t give too much away, but she did tell 22News what this season of the show will be about.
“I can’t reveal too many secrets, but what I can say is that this season is based off of hate crimes,” Roldan said. “So it’s really interesting how the whole season really explores that whole theme since it’s been a really common theme lately.”
Roldan said this was the fourth or fifth time auditioning for the show.
“It’s exciting and I’m super, like i’m so grateful to be on it, I can’t even speak,” Roldan said. “I’m just really happy to be on it. You gotta watch all the way until the end and then you’ll see my little cameo there.”
Roldan said she has a few other projects in the works, but nothing she can share just yet!
You can watch Thursday’ episode of Law and Order: SVU at 10 p.m. on 22News.
