NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Northampton lost parts of its roof during severe thunderstorms on Sunday.
Additional parts of the building do not appear to have been damaged by debris.
The school announced on social media at around 6:30 a.m. Classes will resume Monday however the building inspector has shut the building down until the repairs are complete. The students will be moved to temporary locations.
The Northampton Fire Department also reported that the new pavilion behind Miss Florence Diner was damaged as well.
