One person was hurt and three people have to find some place else to stay Wednesday night after a house fire in Springfield’s Liberty Heights section.

Springfield Fire Captain Brian Tetreault told 22News the fire started in an attic bedroom at 71 Pembroke Street a little before 7pm.

The fire was quickly put out, but a 44-year-old man inhaled some smoke and was taken to the hospital.

The Red Cross is assisting the people who were displaced. No word on what caused the fire.
