One man arrested following Springfield bank robbery

One man was arrested in Springfield Saturday afternoon following a bank robbery.

Springfield Police Spokesman Ryan Walsh told 22News the robbery happened at the TD Bank at 1441 Main Street around noon.

Walsh said  43-year-old Ricardo Collazo showed the bank teller a note and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Springfield Police officers were able to locate Collazo and arrested him for unarmed robbery on a PVTA bus near the intersection of State and Walnut Streets.

An undisclosed amount of cash and a BB gun were recovered were found on Collazo.
