Missing Somers woman found safe in woods at Soap Stone Mountain Trail

SOMERS, Conn. (WTNH) — Police have found a woman Monday who had been missing from a trail in Somers since Sunday.

Connecticut State Police, fire officials and volunteers were searching for Kimberly Kasulis, who was last seen in the area of the Soap Stone Mountain Trail on Sunday.

Police say the case has since been resolved and Kasulis was found in the woods at Soap Stone Mountain Trail.

She was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation.

Police say Kimberly stands 5’4″, weighs 145 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Officials say that Kimberly is from Somers and her vehicle was found on a trail.

Her phone was located in the area as well.

Ellington and Somers officials are coordinating on the investigation.
