President Trump told House Republicans Tuesday night that he is “1000” percent with them on immigration reform, and that he wants to see an end to his policy of separating undocumented children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Votes could happen this week on two bills that would end the policy, but it’s not clear which plan Mr. Trump is backing.
One compromise would limit immigration and provide a path to citizenship and nearly $25 billion for a border wall.
President Trump will take up the issue Wednesday during a meeting with lawmakers at the White House.
