Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito was in two western Massachusetts communities Tuesday to sign Community Compact agreements.
The compacts are projects and goals established by the communities, with the state signing on to help facilitate or find funding for the projects.
Polito signed the 343rd agreement in Hampden Tuesday afternoon.
She told 22News, “Here in Hampden they’re working on some very innovative projects. One of them is to update their website and be able to communicate better, and the other is to help design an intersection and make it more helpful and accessible for seniors.”
Polito was also in Belchertown Tuesday to sign another Community Compact.
