SALEM, Mass. (WWLP) – Another Massachusetts politician is getting into the 2020 presidential race.
Democratic Congressman Seth Moulton released a four-minute campaign video Monday morning, announcing that he is running for president. His campaign website, sethmoulton.com, is now titled “Seth Moulton for America.”
A Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War, Moulton currently represents Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional District, which is along the North Shore.
With his announcement Monday, Moulton becomes the third Massachusetts politician to enter the 2020 race. Senator Elizabeth Warren is also running for the Democratic Party’s nomination, while former Governor William Weld is challenging President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.
