A Springfield church held its annual “Armenian Fest” Sunday afternoon.
It was on the grounds of St. Marks Church on Wilbraham Road.
The event marks the 25th year of the festival, and the 60th of the parish.
It featured a live Armenian band, dancing, authentic Armenian food, and a raffle. Admission was free
Festival Chairman David Jermakian told 22News, “We have an Armenian band that pays authentic Armenian music. They play the same songs that have been played since 1910, and they are still being played today.”
The festival wrapped up at 6:00pm Sunday evening.
