Springfield Police arrested a man Thursday night on default warrants and resisting arrest.
Springfield Police spokesman Ryan Walsh said 23-year-old David Beadle was arrested on Brandon Avenue Thursday night.
Walsh said police saw Beadle at the Dunbar Community Center around 8:00 p.m. and confirmed that he has active warrants out for his arrest.
Beadle tried to run from police and was taken into custody, Walsh said.
Beadle’s default warrants are for carrying a firearm without a license, armed robbery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and another warrant for carrying a firearm without a license, Walsh said.
Default warrants are issued when someone doesn’t show up to court of fails to pay a fine.
