The state is investigating allegations of staff misconduct at an elementary school in Orange.
Orange School Committee chair Stephanie Conrod told 22News that several employees at Fisher Hill Elementary School were placed on paid administrative leave last week. Conrod said the principal is also currently no longer in charge at the school.
Superintendent Tari Thomas sent a letter home to parents last Thursday informing them of the staff misconduct allegations. Thomas said the district is investigating these allegations with state agencies, but all details are confidential and cannot be shared with the public at this time.
The Department of Children of Families confirmed to 22News that they are conducting an investigation at Fisher Hill Elementary School, but could not provide us any other details.
