BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Governor Charlie Baker has ordered flags lowered to half-staff at all State buildings beginning at sunrise on Friday in honor of the four marines killed in Tennessee.
The Marines were killed by suspected gunman, 24-year-old Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez. Abdulazeez was also killed in a shootout with police. The FBI says he went to two different locations, targeting service members.
Abdulazeez was born in Kuwait and had Jordanian citizenship. Investigators are now trying to determine if this shooting is yet another case of domestic terrorism.
