Springfield Technical Community College held their nursing pinning ceremony Tuesday afternoon.
After Tuesday’s ceremony, the graduates will be eligible to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing licensing exam.
One graduate, Kyle McNamara of Westfield told 22News what this ceremony meant to them.
“It means the world to me, to be walking along side fellow nursing students and be making a pledge to put other people’s welfare in front of mine for the rest of my career, and basically the rest of my life,” said McNamara.
After completion of the exam, graduates will be a qualified as a Registered Nurse
