SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) – Suit Up Springfield celebrated its Grand Reopening Wednesday in a new location downtown.
The organization once operated on Worthington Street but has moved to a new location on State Street across from the MassMutual Center.
Suit Up Springfield helps provide free professional attire for the community. They also provide the tools needed to have confidence and help those in need become successful members of the community.
22News spoke to Suit up Springfield’s President Chris Martin about their grand reopening, “We have a lot of people coming from environments where they are not used to having that kind of clothing, and whether they are veterans or just from the community where that’s just not accessible. So to be able to have that provided to them I think that gives that extra layer of just again confidence to whatever profession they are choosing to enter.”
Suit up Springfield has hundreds of free suits and professional attire for business professionals and they also welcome donations to maintain their dress to impress initiative.
