Tonight: National Night Out events in western Massachusetts

News

(WWLP) – Police departments around western Massachusetts will take part in National Night Out Tuesday night, and you’re invited!

National Night Out events are held annually by police departments across the country and promote positive police-community partnerships. This year, more than 38 million people in more than 16,000 communities are celebrating National Night Out.

Most events include free food and beverages, police and fire demonstrations, safety-oriented activities, music, and fun. 

Adams

  • West End of Hoosac Street, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Agawam

  • School Street Park, 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Athol

  • Postponed until October 2 due to weather

Belchertown

  • Belchertown Police Department, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Chicopee

East Longmeadow

  • East Longmeadow High School, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Indian Orchard

  • Myrtle Street Park, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

North Adams

  • Disanti Field, 4:00 – 8:00  p.m.

Orange

  • Postponed until October 2 due to weather

Palmer

  • Palmer Administration Building/Police Department parking lot, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Russell

  • Russell Police Department, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Springfield

  • North End: Calhoun Park, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • East Springfield: Marshall Roy (Carew Street), 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Mason Square: Blunt Park, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Pine Point: Balliet Park, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Forest Park: Holy Name Social Center, 4:30 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Allen Park: Allen Park, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Sector E: Emerson Wight Park, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Mason Square Apt: 837 State Street, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • City View Commons: 26 Federal Court, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
