SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Preparations for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing are still proceeding on schedule.
On Friday, the Chinese government offered a look at the speed skating oval and athletes’ village.
The village and oval have been built on the site of the Beijing 2008 temporary venues for hockey and archery.
The full ice surface could eventually accommodate 3,500 on the ice at the same time.
