Sen. Markey introduces new legislation in support of immigrants and refugees

BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Senator Edward. J. Markey (D-Mass.) was joined at a press conference by immigrant and refugee rights organizations, advocates, and refugees themselves to unveil sweeping new legislation.

The New Deal for New Americans Act aims to promote and support immigrant and refugee inclusion, as well as coordinate efforts of federal, state, and local governments to support social, economic, and civic integration of immigrants and refugees.
