Traffic on the Mass Pike eastbound was backed-up for miles, due to a car fire in Brimfield Thursday afternoon.
According to State Police in Charlton, the right lane of the highway was temporarily closed in the area of the fire, which damaged a Toyota Prius. No serious injuries were reported.
