The closure of a popular cut-through street could cause some traffic trouble in Westfield on Wednesday.
Lloyds Hill Road will be shut down to traffic for much of the day. According to a posting on the city of Westfield’s official website, the road should be shut down starting sometime between 7:00 and 9:00 A.M., and will not re-open until the end of the workday.
This is due to paving work on the street, which is a popular cut-through between Route 20 and Western Avenue.
People who live on Loring Lane, Mountainview Street, Woodland Road, and Dickinson Place will have to enter and exit their neighborhood through Western Avenue while the work is being done.
