SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A car crash caused traffic to back up on I-91 north by exit 5 in Springfield Monday morning.

22News crews could see possibly three cars involved in the accident. The traffic began to back up beginning at the Longmeadow curve.

There is no word on what the cause of the accident was or if there are any injuries. 22News will continue to update the story as soon as more information becomes available.
