Western Massachusetts is expected to get between two to four inches of light snow overnight Sunday and some cities and towns are putting parking bans in place ahead of the expected snow.
The following parking bans are in effect:
- Chicopee: No parking on main roads and no parking on the even-numbered side of secondary roads from 6 p.m. Sunday until 6 p.m, Monday.
- Granby: No on-street parking allowed from 8 p.m. Sunday to 6 p.m. Monday.
- Holyoke: No parking on the odd-numbered side of the street from 7 p.m. until further notice.
- Southwick: No on-street parking allowed from 12 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
- Springfield: No parking on the odd-numbered side of the street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
- Monson: Parking ban begins from 12 a.m to 6 p.m. Monday.
- West Springfield: No parking on main roads and no parking on the odd-numbered side of side streets from 10 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
