AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – A portion of Route 9 in Amherst has been closed due to down power lines Monday morning.
College Street (Route 9) has been closed from Shumway Street to South Whitney Street. Traffic will be diverted from Route 9, which is expected to be closed into the afternoon.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
