SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – One man was sent to the hospital after a two-car crash in Springfield Friday.
Springfield Fire Captain Brian Tetreault told 22News, firefighters were called to the area of 1148 Parker Street just before 3 p.m. Friday afternoon for a report of a two-car crash.

One driver, a 69-year-old man had to be extricated from his vehicle and taken to the hospital. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
The second driver involved in the crash, an 85-year-old man was checked out by first responders at the scene.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
