GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A new — or very old, depending on how you look at it —  Zodiac calendar says your sign might have changed.

According to an article from NASA, there is a thirteenth sign called Ophiuchus.

A Time for Science director of astronomy Brian Baker said the thirteenth sign takes over parts of the Scorpio month.

Baker said the sign you know and love is where the sun was on your birthday 2,000 years ago, but because of the earth axis change over the years, the sun is in a different spot, and so is your sign.

“Your zodiac is essentially off by a couple of months, and this has been true for a long time,” Baker said. “It’s something that slowly changes over thousands of years.”

Baker said, for the most part, the signs are still the same, but this is not the first or last time they’ll move.

The new horoscopes, including the new sign, are:

  • Capricorn: Jan. 20 – Feb. 16
