Wilbraham restaurant re-opened after kitchen fire

The Mandarin Wilbraham restaurant has re-opened only days after a kitchen fire one week ago Sunday.

The March 3rd kitchen fire had caused extensive damage to the grill. But owner Annie Gao told 22News, by hiring a construction company the Boston Road Restaurant was able to open just four days after the fire.

“Thank you to the Wilbraham Fire Department, police department, they responded immediately. I really appreciate that.” Annie Gao, owner

She’s grateful no one was hurt. The fire hasn’t interfered with the restaurants upcoming anniversary plans. Mandarin Wilbraham opened its doors in April 2005.
