TAMPA (WFLA) – Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced that one of its new roller coasters will likely set a world record.

During the park’s 60th-anniversary celebration Friday, organizers showed off two new rollercoasters. “Tigris” will feature speeds up to 62 miles per hour, reach a maximum height of 150 feet, and have a track that is more than 1,800 feet long.

Another, unnamed coaster arriving in 2020 will feature elements of the now-retired ride “Gwazi.” The ride will become North America’s tallest hybrid coaster, and the fastest, steepest hybrid coaster in the world.

For all the adrenaline junkies out there, who are planning a trip to Florida — don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too much longer for “Tigris,” as the ride is expected to open this spring.
