Doctors and nurses rallied against the housing of migrant children in tents Saturday during a protest in Tornillo, Texas.
They say they’re concerned about the impact it could have on their health, and are demanding the Trump Administration take action to free the children and reunite them with their parents.
The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians all say detention facilities and makeshift shelters are not fit for children.
