Family finds ancient bones in backyard

(KSL) The bones of a horse that date back to the Ice Age have been discovered in the backyard of a Utah family. 

 What started with a little landscaping, turned into an all-out excavation project with local palaeontologists gathering and removing the 16,000-year-old bones.

 The scientists are from Thanksgiving Point’s Museum of Ancient Life Paleo Lab. 

 That’s where they’ll take the bones to reconstruct the skeleton, and to see what species they have.
