California fire crews say they’re making progress against the “Front” wildfire burning in the Los Padres National Forest.
The fire had consumed 800 acres as of Sunday evening and forced the closure of a section of Highway 166.
Fire officials say the blaze is only five-percent contained, but is moving away from residential areas. If evacuation orders are necessary, only five homes will be affected.
