LONDON (WWLP) – Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced the name of their first child Wednesday!
The pair announced on their official Instagram that they’d named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The announcement was accompanied by a photo of the Queen meeting the baby, who is her eighth great-grandchild. Also pictured in the photo were the Duke and Duchess, Prince Charles, and Doria Ragland- Meghan’s mother.
The public got their first look at the baby Wednesday morning at Windsor Castle where the new parents posed for photos.

The baby, who was born Monday morning, is seventh in line to the throne.
