A registered sex offender is back behind bars after deputies say they linked him to a computer memory card containing more than 1,000 child porn images.

The memory card was found at the Seffner Coin Laundry located at 787 Dr. King Blvd. W.

Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office internet predator unit investigated and say they linked the memory card to Charles Burns, 33, of Thonotosassa.

Deputies arrested Burns on Monday and charged him with 100 counts of “Possession of Child Pornography 10 or more.”

Burns was previously convicted of 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor in South Carolina.

He was arrested by HCSO last year on a charge of Failure of Sex Offender to Report Biannual.
