(WPRI) — A Fall River man was arrested twice in the same week for allegedly dealing drugs in the Dartmouth area.

According to Dartmouth police, detectives confiscated 133 bags of suspected fentanyl and $200 cash from Blake Donovan when they took him into custody Thursday.

Donovan, 24, was charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute.

Police said Donovan was the subject of an ongoing narcotics investigation and arrested earlier this week on similar charges.

“This arrest is yet another outstanding example of this agency’s commitment of ridding the streets of these dangerous drug dealers,” Dartmouth Police Chief Brian Levesque said in a statement Friday.
