This year’s Hoophall Classic has come to conclusion.
The tournament’s played on Martin Luther King Day weekend every year in Blake Arena at Springfield College.
The Classic draws top high school players and teams from around the country. The basketball tournament allows some local teams to play on the big stage.
“It was a great experience we played against the top team in the city we were the underdogs ended up coming out on top beating central high school it was amazing,” said Chris Spears from the High School of Science and Technology. “Felt like we were in the NBA it was amazing.”
A lot of pros have played in the Hoophall Classic over the 18-years of the tournament.
More than 100 participants have gone on to play in the NBA.
