It was a historic day on Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway as the NASCAR Pinty Series out of Canada debuted here in the United States for the Visit New Hampshire 100.
Kevin LaCroix dominated the event leading the final 90 laps to win the race.
LaCroix talked about his win to 22News.
“It was nice. We weren’t feeling so confident after the tough day we had yesterday in practice. Qualified second but I am always very aggressive in qualifying. We were a little afraid for the race. We made a great adjustment for qualifying and it worked out really good in the race and it’s easy when you have a good car like this and you’re able to lead and take it easy and save your gas, tires, and your breaks,” said LaCroix.
Pete Shepperd finished the race in second. Donald Theetge finished the race in third. Polesitter and former NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour driver Cole Powell finished in fourth and D.J. Kennington rounded out the top five. Alex Tagliani finished in seventh.
The NASCAR Pinty Series will wrap up their 2018 season next Saturday, September 29 at Jukasa Motor Speedway.
