Eddie MacDonald out of Rowley, MA will have a busy season this season as he will race a full schedule on the American Canadian Tour as well as a limited schedule on the PASS Super Late Model Series. One of the races MacDonald would like to make is the New England Shorttrack Showdown event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in June.

MacDonald is looking forward to going to back Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH next Saturday, May 12. MacDonald’s parents Red and Judy sold Lee USA Speedway a couple months ago to Norm Wrenn. MacDonald is hoping to get a win under the new ownership but told 22News he is happy for his parents.

“There excited for the Wrenn’s. I think they are going to do well with the speedway and looking forward to it,” said MacDonald.

MacDonald feels the PASS Series is a tough group of guys, “Its nice to have good competition. Will go out there and do our best and hopefully we can try to get some wins.”

Cris Michaud and Pat Malone purchased the American Canadian Tour during the offseason. MacDonald is looking forward to working with the group.

“I think they will do a great job. Its always been a fun tour to race on. They got a lot of good races so looking forward to getting that season starting,” said MacDonald.

The American Canadian Tour will kickoff their 2018 season this weekend at Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre, VT on Sunday.
