Carey, III is not worried about the points. The points will fall where they fall.
“You’re a race car driver. You go out there and anybody that’s in front of you. You pass em. That’s your goal as a race car driver and if you can pass them all to the front and win it then your probably gonna end up with the championship,” said Carey, III.
Shawn Monahan won the 20 lap Limited Sportsman race. Wayne Burroughs, Jr won the 15 lap Mini Stock race. Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park will close out the 2018 season on the oval with the 2018 Sunoco World Series of Racing that will happen on Friday-Sunday October 12-14.
