Bobby Santos continues the winning streak at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as he edged out Chase Dowling in a photo finish as he won the Eastern Propane & Oil 100.
The margin of victory was .014 seconds. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Newman finished third in the event. He led a total of 16 laps.
Fans have always said the modifieds have put on the best race all weekend at the Magic Mile and they were not disappointed as they saw 20 lead changes among eight drivers.
Points leader Justin Bonsignore led a race-high 46 laps. He finished fourth in the 100 lap event.
Santos made up seven spots in the final 21 laps of the event. After the red flag on lap 86, Santos worked his to the front and battled for the lead.
Justin Bonsignore will take a 32 point lead over Chase Dowling heading to Stafford Motor Speedway for the Starrett Tools coming up on Friday, August 3.
