Stafford Motor Speedway will conclude their 2018 season next weekend with the NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final featuring the NAPA Auto Parts 150 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event.
Ryan Preece took down the win back in April in the Spring Sizzler and Doug Coby scored his first win of the year back in August. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will be heading to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend for the Musket 250.
The Stafford Motor Speedway NASCAR Whelen All American Series divisions will be in action. Four out of the five division’s championships have already been clinched. Ronnie Williams has clinched the SK Modified championship. Williams has won four races in the SK Modifieds this season. East Longmeadow’s Tom Fearn has had a stellar season in the Late Models winning 12 races clinching the 2018 Late Model championship. Fearn has finished in the top five and 10 19 times out of 20 races this year. Jeremy Lavoie out of Windsor Locks, CT has clinched the 2018 Limited Late Model championship. George Bessette, Jr has clinched the 2018 Street Stock championship. The second generation driver has won four times this year.
The Vintage All-Stars will return for the NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final weekend. They were part of the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler weekend back in April. The Ladies Challenge will return as they will race Street Stocks and race for charity.
The weekend will kick off next Saturday, September 29 with the Paddock Gates opening at 7:45 a.m. The Main Grandstands and Ticket Booths will open at 10:00 a.m. with practice beginning for all divisions. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Group Qualifying will begin at 2:30 p.m. Qualifying Heat races will begin at 3:00 p.m. with feature races to follow.
On Sunday, September 30, the Paddock Gates will open at 9:00 a.m. with the Main Grandstands and Ticket Booths opening at 10:00 a.m. The NAPA Auto Parts Open Track Party will go from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. At 1:00 p.m. feature racing will begin with the SK Modifieds, Late Models, and SK Lights. The NAPA Auto Parts 150 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will take the green flag at approx 3:30 p.m.
