CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The 22News Storm Team has issued a Weather Alert for the potential for freezing rain through Thursday evening.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for western Franklin County, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday for areas of light freezing rain and freezing drizzle that could create slippery conditions.
Thursday will be cloudy with showers and drizzle and areas of patchy fog this morning. Highs will be in the lower 40s but as temperatures drop later Thursday afternoon we could see some areas of light freezing rain and freezing drizzle mainly in Franklin County.
Rain and snow showers through Thursday night and there could be some areas of patchy freezing rain and freezing drizzle, lows will be in the low to mid 30s.
