Freezing rain could make for some slippery roads Saturday morning

Weather News

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of western Massachusetts from 3 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday.

A storm system will bring mainly rain but temperatures may be cold enough for it to start out as some light freezing rain in some areas Saturday morning.

That could make for some slippery roads and sidewalks.

*WHAT: Areas of freezing rain. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze expected

*WHEN: From 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.

Expect slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
