Frost advisory in effect for all of Western Massachusetts through Sunday morning

Weather News

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) — The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for all of western Massachusetts from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday for near-freezing temperatures.

That means any sensitive outdoor plants should be brought inside, or at least covered up.

Low temperatures Saturday night will dip to the low 30’s for some, and mid 30’s for many. That could lead to widespread frost which could kill many sensitive outdoor plants.

But at least we’ll warm right back up later in the day. High temperatures on Sunday will reach the upper 50’s to low 60’s, with plenty of sunshine.
